martie lieberman

Martie Lieberman is a real estate broker specializing in mid-century modern homes in the Sarasota area, and she is a founder of the Sarasota Architectural Foundation. Lieberman co-chaired the five-day "Sarasota School of Architecture Tour & Symposium" in 2001, which brought her to seek out Gene Leedy for inclusion in the program. Martie has been awarded the AIA Florida Bob Graham Award (2004), the AIA Florida President's Award (2002), and the AIA Gulf Coast Presidents Award (2004) for her volunteer work promoting and encouraging good design in Florida. She restored and owns the 1955 modern waterfront home designed by Paul Rudolph, known as the Cohen House. Martie successfully sells Sarasota's best modern houses and continues to consult authors, newspapers, magazines, film crews, and photographers who are interested in Sarasota's modernist legacy.
